Bharti Airtel launches Platinum 3G services in Ahmedabad

Bharti Airtel has announced the launch of its Platinum 3G services in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The services will be rolled out across the entire state over the next few weeks.
The company currently has about 8 million customers in Gujarat, of which 0.45 million customers use its existing 3G service. Airtel will allow its existing 3G customers to switch to Platinum 3G at existing 3G tariffs. As per the company, the data speed is likely to be three-five times higher than the existing service.
